Please join us for our annual PRSSS Fall Field Tour on October 5 – 6. This year we will be exploring the soils of the Lower Mainland. The tour will provide us an opportunity to explore various soil types found in this area.

Accommodation: Camping at Earthwise Farms in Agassiz is included in the tour price for the evening of October 5th.
Food: Participants will be expected to bring their own meals, with the exception of some snacks over the course of the tour and dinner on October 5th which will be provided by the PRSSS (cost included in course fee). Please bring your own plate and utensils for the dinner.
Transportation: Ride-sharing will be organized by the PRSSS. The cost of gas will be reimbursed for participants who offer to drive their own vehicle in the carpool. Rental cars will be booked if necessary.
Itinerary: We will be visiting Burns Bog, Aldergrove Provincial Park, a restored site, and an aquifer site on Day 1. We will be camping at Earthwise Farms in Agassiz on Saturday night. On Day 2 we will go on a tour of the farm and tour the UBC Dairy Research Centre, before returning to Vancouver in the afternoon.
