Join the Summer PRSSS in Virtual Soil Science Trivia on Thursday August 13, 2020
Since we had a great response from our first virtual pub-style Soil Science themed trivia night, we decided to plan an additional trivia night. It will be hosted on Thursday, August 13th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Pacific Daylight Time) using Zoom. A registration fee of $2 will be required, with profits going to Black Lives Matter Vancouver. There will be a mix of questions styles and topics to keep things interesting. The zoom link will be sent out to participants on the day of the event. The following guidelines are suggested:
- Teams of 3 or 4 people
- Teams must not google answers and will work on the honour system
- A ‘scribe’ is suggested to write down questions and answers
- Questions will be given in blocks of 10-20 at a time
- After a block of questions, teams will be put into breakout groups to discuss for 10 minutes, then came back to score
- Think of a fun soil themed team name
