Upcoming Spring Workshop
Event Details
The PRSSS is celebrating its 40th anniversary. To celebrate, we want to review the changes within land uses throughout the province and how that affects the soils in our region. This will be our first in-person AGM since 2020, and our first ever hybrid event!
DATE: Saturday, March 2, 2024, 8am-4pm
Registration
In-person registration is $50 for students and $120 for non-students/ professionals. On-line registration is $15 for students and $50 for professionals/non-students. The price includes registration and a PRSSS annual membership for 2024/2025. The 2024/2025 membership registration cycle lasts from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
*If you are unable to pay the registration fee the PRSSS can subsidize the cost, because Soil Science is for everyone and cost should not be a barrier to education. If the cost for the AGM is a barrier for you, please indicate this when you sign up as we have reserved a number of spaces at a lower cost for both students and general registrations. If you identify as Indigenous, we will waive the registration fee to reflect the fact that the soils we study are on stolen land, therefore all soil science research should be openly available to Indigenous peoples.
Registration closes Friday March 1st, 2024 at midnight.
